This week Captate CEO, Conor Brady, spoke to Carol Tallon from Proptech Ireland and Property District. They discussed how Captate’s online virtual tours are used for various types of real estate digital marketing. In particular, they explored how to reduce offline marketing costs of both new developments and vacant office spaces.
Conor explained how he was surprised when he was asked to build 3D rendered tours to help lease shell office space in Washington DC. The “virtual tour staging” pilot project was a collaboration between VTS/Truvia and Brookfield and can be seen online here.
Carol and Conor also discussed a Captate project in Toronto. The developer has opted not to build expensive model homes or sales offices. Instead, they are working with a local digital marketing agency and Captate to create a digital first marketing campaign. They will use the online Captate 3D Tour to generate new leads, boost early presales and to validate the project for financiers. As the project progresses, Captate will offer regular updates on this “digital first” approach. At the end of the project they will publish a case study with the return on investment of such a forward-thinking strategy.
Please get in touch if you would like to receive regular updates from Captate as these projects progress.
